About the School

Oxford Public School in Waigaon (Ni), situated in Wardha district of Maharashtra, is a well-established coeducational English-medium secondary school founded in 2014, and run by the Chetana Education Society, Wardha under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. Affiliated with the State Board of Secondary Education (SBSE) Maharashtra, it prepares students from Nursery through Class X for the Senior School Certificate Examination, offering Science and Humanities streams.

The school's vision centres on holistic education: nurturing not only academic excellence but also character, integrity, and social responsibility. Its mission emphasizes student-centered, inclusive learning, aimed at creating responsible global citizens ready for the future.

Oxford Public School boasts a sprawling campus equipped with smart classrooms, well stocked libraries, science and computer labs, sports facilities, and even in house medical support. A strong emphasis is placed on both academic rigor and extracurricular development—through music, sports, yoga, meditation, and leadership activities connecting with the issues of society and motivation of social change through knowledge, Compassion and peace.

With over 600 enrolled students and a faculty team exceeding 25, the school maintains a student–teacher ratio that enables more personalized attention. General Information

Communication

At the beginning of each academic year, the school conducts an orientation session for parents. Circulars are sent regularly to keep parents informed about school activities and updates.

Parent-Teacher Meetings are scheduled early in the year to discuss the academic calendar. Parents are encouraged to actively participate in all meetings organized by the school at regular intervals, to understand their child's development and progress, and to share any special interests or talents.

Library

The school library is well-equipped with an extensive and up-to-date collection of books across various subjects, including children’s encyclopedias, newspapers, sports literature, and science models. Primary classes also benefit from a dedicated classroom library facility.

Games & Sports

Games and sports are an integral part of the school curriculum, contributing to the all-round development of students. The school provides specialized coaching in:

Students are encouraged to participate in inter-school competitions as well as D.S.O. Wardha, State, and National level events.

Music

Computer Lab

The school features well-equipped computer laboratories with internet access and multimedia systems to support digital learning.

Science Lab

Regular practical science classes are conducted with a focus on interactive, participatory, and hands-on learning. Examination

  • Students must clear all dues before appearing for any examination.
  • A minimum of 75% attendance is required to be eligible for final examinations.

School Uniform

  • All students must attend school in the prescribed uniform.
  • Parents are encouraged to ensure that their children come to school neatly dressed and well-groomed every day.
